At FUERGY, we believe that every sector deserves its own progress toward sustainable development and modernization. While we contribute to advancing energy solutions, our inspirational partners at Rozmanita are working to improve the Slovak education system for the better. Our collaboration combines two approaches - energy sustainability and quality, through inclusive education with the common goal of contributing to a better future for all of us.

An Inclusive School for the Future

The civic association Rozmanita addresses the high level of polarization in Slovak society and the lack of skills in children who will be essential for the future, by building a model inclusive school of the future, where children from various national, ethnic, and religious minorities as well as children from the majority, children from different socio-economic backgrounds, gifted children and children with disabilities all learn together in one diverse community.

This educational model promotes the development of key future skills—critical thinking, creativity, the ability to build relationships, and care for both physical and mental health. It is a place where children learn that diversity is our greatest strength and where everyone feels accepted.

Just as Rozmanita works to modernize education, FUERGY is working on bringing new innovations to the energy sector. Our solutions support a sustainable energy future, increase energy efficiency and improve access to renewable resources. We focus on making our technologies easily accessible and contributing to a better quality of life for everyone. This shared vision of a better, modern future is what has brought us together.

Christmas Project: The Christmas Battery

This year, we had the honor of collaborating on a Christmas project with the children from the Rozmanita school. Together we decided to create a unique Christmas card that would blend the theme of Christmas and energy.

The theme “A Battery of Christmas: The Energy That Connects” inspired the children to draw what Christmas energy means to them – how it brings families, friends together, and brings joy and light into our homes. The result is a collection of colorful drawings full of love and imagination – with their crayons, the children captured scenes of caroling, family gatherings, snowball fights, and even Santa Claus on electric sleighs.

It wasn’t easy to choose just a few of these beautiful drawings to use as designs for our Christmas cards for our colleagues and partners. We needed help, so we displayed every piece of artwork at our Christmas party and asked colleagues to vote for their favorites.

Together, we chose the drawings by preschooler Jožko, first grader Viktor and two second graders Silvia and Jonáško to be the winners.

Jožko’s colorful drawing features a unique “battery man” with a smile – a joyful character spreading Christmas energy. Next to him stands a Christmas tree, decorated with colorful lights and a shining star on top – a symbol of the light and unity that Christmas brings. Jožko's drawing reminds us that the true energy of Christmas lies in smiles, joy and coming together.

Viktor's drawing has Santa Claus on an electric sleigh, possibly showing that even the old-school Santa Claus can become modern and eco-friendly by using sustainable energy. Next to him stands a colorful Christmas tree with the whole family gathered around, full of joy and warmth. Above them hovers an angel, symbolizing protection and love.

Viktor's drawing reminds us that the true energy of Christmas is found in the combination of tradition and modernity, in family, love, and sharing beautiful moments together.

Silvi enchanted us with her artwork, which you could easily mistake for a piece by the famous Van Gogh. Her drawing depicts a family walk under a night sky filled with bright stars. In the middle of a street lit by lanterns and colorful Christmas lights stands a glowing Christmas tree.

With her drawing, Silvi beautifully captured not only the magic of Christmas, but also how light and energy bring families together and create unforgettable moments.

Jonáško impressed us with his vibrant drawing, adding a bit of color to our battery storage system and energy flowing throughout the entire space. His artwork radiates a sense of peace and joyful atmosphere. He also drew his family – dad in a suit, mom in a beautiful pink dress and himself, all standing by the Christmas tree with beautifully wrapped presents underneath.

His drawing shows that the true energy of Christmas lies not only in the technology that lights up the tree but above all, in family harmony and love that create unforgettable moments. We decided to use this beautiful artwork for our internal New Year’s card for colleagues.

Collaboration for a Better World

We are proud of our collaboration with Rozmanita, as each of us contributes in our own way to creating a better world – for children and for society as a whole. In the past, we have carried out similar initiatives such as the Eco Energy Tour project, which brought ecological and educational activities to children.

We believe that each of us can contribute to change, whether at our schools, in the energy sector or in the way we help each other. Christmas is the perfect time to remind ourselves of the importance of the energy that connects us – because it is, after all, the most valuable energy of all.
